On June 14  2014,  Award-winning students and alumni from the piano and chamber classes of Rita Shklar presented a concert  in celebration of her 20 years’  anniversary of  teaching at the Westminster Conservatory of Music in Princeton.

Rita Shklar receives the  ” Destinguished Pedagogy Award” .  The award  is presented on March 2 at Carnegie Hall in New York by the International Music and Arts Society.

Sudhir Vel, 16 – Grand Prize winner ( Carnegie Hall Performance) of the 2014 International Music and Arts Society Young Artists Competition.

Stephanie Zhou, 14 and David Bleiman, 7 – top Grand Prix ( Carnegie Hall Performance) winners of the2014 Rising Talents Music-Fest Competition.

Eric Wang ,14, became a winner of the New Jersey Music Teachers Association advanced master class competition. Eric performed at the master class session during an annual NJMTA conference in November. The master class was taught by a distinguished guest artist – Joseph Kalichstein from the Juilliard School.

Graduating seniors Dmitry Styrkas and Rachel Taratuta-Titus perform as soloists with the Princeton High School Orchestra at the Westminster Choir College in Princeton. Dmitry performs Saint-Sans Piano Concerto No.1, Finale and Rachel performs Mozart Piano Concerto No.23  in A Major.
